FOODWAYS

Foodways is a world-wide project by Spatula&Barcode with multiple iterations.

The first version was made in Darmstadt, Germany, in August and September of 2015. This post leads to a number of posts describing and reflecting on that iteration.

From February to July 2016, we were Artists in Residence at the University of Melbourne and Victorian College of the Arts to make Foodways Melbourne, with a number of other local partners.

We were fortunate to be artists in Residence at The Bubbler, the Madison Public Library’s hands-on project space, where our “Community Research Kitchen” (September&October 2016) initiated the research component of Foodways Madison, which is focused on food systems.
