This week’s eats (8 August 2009)

For a visiting nephew, there was this grilled two-headed trout, stuffed with lemon thyme and served with grilled king mushrooms and fennel.

For a visiting nephew, there was this grilled two-headed trout, stuffed with lemon thyme and served with grilled king mushrooms and fennel. Michael was very pleased how much of the fish came off the grill both crispy and intact.

And when company was gone, we re-energized with these classic huevos rancheros under an amazing tomatillo sauce LB made. (At the back is one of our few tomatos so far from the garden.)
